How browser screen sharing differs from remote-control tools

Browser screen sharing lets two people watch the same screen while one guides the other. It does not let the agent operate the customer's computer or connect when nobody is present. Tools built for control and unattended access are a different kind of product.

What Help99 does

Shows a screen with a pointer and optional voice, in the browser, after consent.

What it does not do

Take control of a computer, transfer files or connect unattended.

When that is enough

Guiding, onboarding and quick checks where the customer should do the steps.

When it is not

If someone must operate the computer or reach it when nobody is there, use a tool built for that.

See screen sharing questions and answers, the screen-sharing guide or how a session works.
