Customer safety

Is browser screen sharing safe for the customer?

Nothing is shared until you agree and choose what to share in your own browser. The agent cannot control your computer, and you can stop at any time. Safety still depends on you only using a code from someone you trust.

Consent comes first

The customer types a six-digit code, then agrees before anything is shared.

You choose what is shared

Your browser's own picker asks which tab, window or screen to share. Nothing is shared until you click Share.

No control

The agent can point on the shared screen but cannot click or type on your computer.

You can stop

Stopping ends the consultation. Only use a code from a person you trust; Help99 cannot verify who gives you a code.

See screen sharing questions and answers, the screen-sharing guide or how a session works.
